Congratulations to the HWRC Teams at the National Horse Trials Championships!

High Wycombe Riding Club has had another successful weekend, this time at the National Horse Trials Championships.
The novice team did a two day event, whilst the intermediates did a three day event. Both were complete with vet inspections, roads and tracks and steeplechase elements. It is a real adventure and there aren't too many opportunities to take part in long format three day events anymore.

Both of our teams did fantastically all finishing in the ribbons.

The Novice team, consisting of Jane Adderley, Steph Read, Lucy Chappell and Perdie Reid, finished the competition in 4th place. They were also in the rosettes individually with Jane being placed second, Steph sixth and Perdie tenth.

The Intermediate team, consisting of Harriet Coupland, Bryony Harper, Jane Adderley and Steph Read, finished in 9th place with Steph finishing second individually. 

Congratulations to everyone who took part and many thanks to all the mums, dads, sisters, husbands and other helpers who helped us neurotic riders!
